Hi guys,

I'm glad that you took the plunge and started podcasting too :-). I really enjoyed this podcast, and particularly as I just got back to Spain after 2 months in and around Buenos Aires at the end of my trip through Latin America.

I thought I'd add a couple of things about BA...firstly, people should be really careful about being ripped off by unscrupulous property agents - especially advertising on sites like Craigslist, I heard several horror stories about this.

Regarding the Spanish, I leart my Spanish in Guatemala and Ecuador for 8 weeks, and when I arrived in Argentina I could hardly understand a word (as opposed to 90% in Peru & Bolivia). After about 5 weeks I understood lots more. It is however very different from Castillian Spanish. I'm in Madrid now, and I can tell you that Argentinian Spanish is like another language - it's the Italian influence :-)

Couldn't agree more about the dog s**t - it drove me mad, but all in all I thought Buenos Aires was an incredibly interesting city and I shall also be going back...

Thanks again and I'm looking forwards to the next podcast...

Great podcast! I leave for Buenos Aires in a week, and it's reassuring to hear that it's LIP-friendly.
