1. The dog poo – one of the worst days
yesterday where we literally had to hopskotch a pavement in between the
steaming piles. My legs went wobbly, I vowed I was never going to come
out again and I generally felt sick.

We’d heard & read a few things about taxis in Buenos Aires. Things like don’t take a cab on the street, always call for a radio taxi…which scared us a little given our lack of Spanish skills!

1. The different barrios which all have
a distinct vibe about them. Aside from the bits we hate about our
neighbourhood (see next post), Las Canitas, it’s a lovely, bohemian,
sociable place which comes alive every evening with kids playing,
families out for coffee or a stroll and people chatting.
